The goal of the Building Use Policy is to create a welcoming place for religious worship, education, art, drama, music, and fellowship that reflects the core values of Christ Church Glendale. In order to realize this goal, we desire to maintain the buildings on our campus in a safe, clean, comfortable, accessible, and appealing manor. We further desire to maximize building use while abnormal wear and tear is minimized.
The Building Use Policy is intended to protect the personal safety of all who visit the buildings on our campus. Our buildings shall be welcoming to friends and strangers, while at the same time we desire to reduce the risk from theft and damage. The environmental values of Christ Church Glendale calls for the conservation of energy and the reduction of unnecessary energy waste.
The allocation of the facilities for worship and church related functions is the responsibility of the Rector. Permission to use the facilities for other than this use is the responsibility of the Rector, the Sr. Warden, and the Jr. Warden. Permission from at least two of these must be obtained before use of the facilities will be granted.
