Music at Christ Church Glendale
Music is a part of the worship and life at Christ Church. The choirs play a significant role in our liturgy and worship, both by leading congregational singing and presenting anthems appropriate to the Scripture lessons appointed for the day.

Evensong Series
The Evensong Series at Christ Church Glendale was begun in 1986. We are pleased to present the beautiful service of Evensong in the Anglican tradition, with some innovations. Each service begins at 5:00 PM, and concludes with fellowship in the Olivia House parish hall.

Music Live With Lunch
Music Live with Lunch is a series of free public concerts on the second Wednesday of each month. All concerts begin at 12:05, and last about 25 minutes.

September 9, 2009 -Miami3 performs and commissions "Crossover" music, a style of music containing elements of "Classical" music mixed with other styles such as Rag, Jazz, Klezmer, Folk, Pop, World Music, etc.

October 14, 2009 -Conundrum has gained a reputation for audience-oriented new music played with passion, humor and conviction, featuring different combinations of their unique instrumentation soprano, flute, clarinet and piano.

November 11, 2009 -Organists John and Bonnie Spain. Duets on the great organ! Four arms, hands, and feet in this unique offering to our concerts!

December 9, 2009 - Celebrating the beauty of Christmas, we present the Buerkle Brass Quintet playing music of the season.

January 13, 2010 -Adagio Trio is the ultimate beautiful music ensemble, with cello, flute, and harp, they make unimaginable magic.

February 10, 2010 Rob Allgeyer Jazz Ensemble returns to Christ Church Glendale for hot music in a chilly month.

March 10, 2010 Series favorite, soprano Beth Merritt, will sing many songs from Broadway to Cincinnati, opera and classics.

April 14, 2010 - Another great organ concert with protege organist Michael Messina, direct from Trinity Episcopal Church in Indianapolis.

May 12, 2010 -Vernon McIntyres Appalachian Grass returns again this year. You must not miss their unique blend of entertainment and bluegrass music.
