Christ Church Glendale Clergy and Staff
The Rev. David A. Pfaff
Rector
Fr. David and his family came to Christ Church Glendale in August of 2016, after twenty-four years of ordained ministry in parochial and diocesan positions in the dioceses of North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Milwaukee. Raised in North Carolina, he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the General Theological Seminary in New York.
A life-long Episcopalian, Fr. David loves the rhythms of life in a Christian community, and feels truly blessed to serve at Christ Church Glendale. It is while standing at the altar celebrating the Eucharist that he feels the deepest sense of integration in his life.
In his ‘off’ time, he enjoys painting icons in the Byzantine style, reading, and watching sports, either live or on television. He also enjoys creating cards on the computer for different occasions and events. Most importantly, however, he enjoys spending time with this his wife, Emily Vaill Pfaff, their three adult children and their families, Andrew a teacher in Madison, WI, Helen a law student at Ohio Northern University, Edward an undergrad at Earlham College, four cats and a dog!
