The Christ Church Glendale William Cooper Procter Foundation Inc. Scholarship Program
Thanks to the benevolence and foresight of Jane Eliza Procter, a legacy was born on her death.
To Christ Church Glendale, Ohio, I leave IN TRUST, One Hundred Thousand Dollars (100,000.00), the income only from which is to be used at the discretion of the vestry for the support of the Church or any of its activities, or for helping people in the Village of Glendale in time of need, in illness, or in aiding individuals in their education. This fund is to be known as The William Cooper Procter Memorial Fund for the Village of Glendale.
With this generous gift in her will, “The William Cooper Procter Memorial Fund for the Village of Glendale” was established in 1954.
Mrs. Procter entrusted the Vestry of Christ Church Glendale to administer this Memorial Fund. In the year 2010, it was incorporated in the State of Ohio as “The Christ Church Glendale William Cooper Procter Foundation, Inc.”
Her benevolent vision leads Procter Foundation Scholarships to financially aid students in their education.
